Who We Are
The ERP Learning Hub is a specialised centre established in 2024 by the Department of Marketing Management, University of Kelaniya, to advance the university's leadership in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) education in Sri Lanka. The Hub capitalises on a decade long track record of excellence in ERP education, built since 2015 when the Department became Sri Lanka's first SAP learning partner under the prestigious SAP University Alliance. Bringing together this accumulated expertise, curriculum, and network of industry partnerships under a single, unified platform, the ERP Learning Hub serves as the university's dedicated centre for ERP teaching, training, and consultancy, extending its reach to departments across the University of Kelaniya, academic institutions nationally and internationally, and industry partners across the ERP ecosystem. Miss Shanika Wijenayake serves as the Director of the Hub, leading its continued growth and impact.
Our Objectives
- To establish the University of Kelaniya as Sri Lanka's leading centre for ERP education, building on its first-mover advantage in the field
- To serve as the university's central hub for ERP teaching, learning, assessment, training, and consultancy
- To extend ERP education and assessment services to academic institutes across Sri Lanka and internationally
- To consolidate and safeguard the ERP knowledge, expertise, and resources built up over the years for long-term sustainability
- To advance ERP knowledge through collaborative programmes with corporate organisations, government institutes, professional bodies, and academic and global partners
Current Projects
- Diploma in Enterprise Resource Planning (DERP) — A 30-credit ERP diploma programme open to both internal undergraduates of Department of Marketing Management and external students, delivered in partnership with Rizing Lanka and the SAP University Alliance Partnership
- ERP Certificate Courses — Seven online, on-demand certificate courses across Functional, Technical, and BASIS career pathways, developed and managed in collaboration with DP Education
- ERP Mini-Course Workshops — Short, focused ERP modules embedded within Masters and specialist degree programmes across the university
- Industry Collaboration & Consultancy — Partnerships with corporate organisations and other universities to support curriculum integration, talent development, and knowledge-sharing in ERP
