The 11th Inauguration Ceremony of the Diploma in People Skills (DPS) Programme was held on April 23, 2026, via Zoom, commencing at 9:30 a.m. The event marked the beginning of an enriching academic journey for the new cohort of students, focusing on bridging the gap between academic learning and essential professional competencies.

The programme commenced with the Welcome Address and Programme Introduction delivered by Mrs. Bimali Wijesundara, Acting Head of the Department of Marketing Management. The gathering was then honored by an address from the Chief Guest, Prof. W.M.C.B. Wanninayake, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies.

The keynote speech was delivered by Dr. Oshadie Korale, Chief Operating Officer of XpressJobs, who shared valuable industry insights with the participants. The ceremony concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Mrs. Nilakshi Subasinghe, Coordinator of the Diploma in People Skills Programme.
